As a growing ministry, serving many locally and around the world, it is our constant prayer for the Lord to bring more individuals to learn with us, be equipped, and join in the King’s work of ministering to the brokenhearted and setting captives free. We believe the Lord has called us to not only provide prayer ministry but also develop prayer ministers.
In obedience to the Lord's call, we offer training through our online courses and Immersed. Those wanting to join the Six One ministry team have been asked to complete Immersed followed by an onboarding process.
This has worked well, but we have sensed a gap needing to be filled between learning prayer ministry and joining the work of prayer ministry. There is subject matter specific to stepping into a ministry like Six One that would be highly beneficial for those desiring to join our team to have learned. There are also those who have completed Immersed and expressed an interest in coming alongside and learning from the Six One ministry team in order to take what they have learned someplace new.
To address these needs, we have developed an Apprenticeship program. Think of it like a residency. The Apprenticeship takes place each year from June-September. During these months, participants gain a greater understanding of the inner workings of a prayer ministry through regular teaching, supplemental readings, and participation in Six One prayer sessions with experienced team members.
We are excited to continue to be a place where the hurting come to meet with Jesus and be set free while we also step further into our Kingdom assignment of training and discipling more prayer ministers.
